Request Details

Dynamically sized array is nice Vec<T> and it technically can cover any use case. However, I imagine there's some potential for optimization using fixed length arrays. I'm guessing knowing the size up front and that all rows are identical could help the team internally manage the data better.

Some use cases I can think of, some better than others.

  • grid data for navigation
  • player inventory
  • buffer of some kind, maybe input or something
  • precise control over table size + alignment
  • bit sets for flags
